NRW-ASEAN Summit 2024: A day for your Southeast Asian business!

On 18 April 2024, everything will revolve around the markets of Southeast Asia for one day in the Stadthalle Bielefeld. The ASEAN region is becoming increasingly important for the German economy. The dynamic economic area with strong growth rates and around 670 million inhabitants offers diverse business opportunities. As part of the NRW-ASEAN Summit 2024, three talk panels and four workshops will address topics such as: Distribution, location, financing, customs agreements, halal, procurement, attracting skilled labour and reliable framework conditions. Frank Sieren, German journalist, author and correspondent, will give a keynote speech on "Southeast Asia in the globalisation process. Representatives of the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs) will also be available for consultations. In the exhibitor area you can make contacts, network and be inspired by new ideas. Be there and get compact information about potential business models.

The Green Economy Network.NRW is taking part in the NRW-ASEAN Summit 2024 and representing the North Rhine-Westphalian green economy there. Greta Dekker (Head of International Markets, Green Economy Network.NRW) will take part in two events as a speaker:
  • Workshop 3, 3:20 p.m.: "Tapping into opportunities and how to successfully develop the market - customs agreements, networks and industry specialities "Green Economy" and "Halal"
  • Side event with the delegation from Malaysia on the topic: "GreenTech potentials from NRW and the global market opportunities for a sustainable economy"
